by David M. The second day of the Cardigan trip On the start of day two we woke up, went down to the dining room and had breakfast. After we had breakfast we started hiking up mt.cardigan and firescrew. On our way up cardigan we saw and sketched many thing such as witches hair, mushroom, moss, leaves, rocks and many other plants. when we got to the top of mt.cardigan all the 7th graders took a picture together. After we took the picture we walked around and saw the fire tower. Then we began our walk down the mountain. Whilst we were walking down the mountain we saw even more plants than when we were going up. When we got back down to the AMC lodge we ate dinner played a game and went to sleep.

On day two of the trip to cardigan a example you could use for this is the alpine zone at the top of cardigan mountain. inside of the alpine zone there is another zone called the alpine bog aswell.
